One more sign that the knitting thing is on the verge of becoming wildly out of control: I had been raking leaves for just over an hour when I reached the halfway point of the driveway, and I had a strange sense that there was YARN IN THE MAILBOX. But how could there be? I didn't see the mailman go by. At the end of my sprint to the road's edge, I whipped open the mailbox cover, and there it was, the package from Amanda at GnomeAcres. My two skeins of DK in Gimli, a cream, black and brown mix that mimics the colors of Amanda's Australian Shepherd.
It's just the thing for a design I have had kicking around in my head for quite some time. I hope a lot less time passes before I turn it into an FO...
